PARENT MEMO

NOTICE:
Child Care Rate Changes
Dear Parent,
The Sherman County Child Care Foundation’s (SCCCF) mission, has been and continues to be, “to provide high quality child care at an affordable rate.” In order to keep our services affordable, SCCCF has increased rates only one time since 2015. However, Oregon's minimum wage has increased every year for the past ten years which has had a significant financial impact on small businesses. Because of increasing staff costs plus the effects of inflation on operational costs, the SCCCF has found it necessary to increase child care rates for ABC Huskies Child Care. The following rates will go into effect beginning March 21, 2025.
Infants (6 wks – 18 months) $4.90
Toddlers (19 months – 35 months) $4.65
School Age (3 years - 11 years) $4.40
Second Child in Family $4.15
(first child rate based on age of youngest child)
Note: Financial assistance is available for families who qualify.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Director Mika Von Ahn at 541-442-5031.
Sincerely,
Gail Macnab, Carrie Kaseberg, Melva Thomas
